  • About Grace Walker, Physical Therapy

    The director of Grace Walker Physical Therapy and Pain Center has a practice grounded not only in years of experience with clients, but numerous hours as a teacher and a student. As a physical therapist, Dr. Grace Walker is familiar with techniques for relieving pain in the extremities, spine, hands, and the jaw.
     

    Dr. Walker's educational background includes doctorates as a physical therapist and occupational therapist at the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. In addition, she has multiple certificates from the Natural Healing Institute of Naturopathy in Encinitas, California. Subjects include aromatherapy, holistic health care, and in progress, nutrition and natural healing.

     

    She has published several articles, including one for the University of California, Irvine’s website, “The Aging Brain,” on the benefits of physical therapy for those with Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Walker has made professional presentations on topics such as the sacroiliac joint, the cervical spine, and the lumbar spine.

     

    She practices health measures in her spare time, including walking and Pilates. Her volunteer work encompasses programs such as the Costa Mesa Interfaith Shelter, Stop Hunger Now, and Go Red for Women.
